I'm trying to decide between Zelda Twilight Princess and Metroid Prime 3. What say you?

Are you in the mood to play a third person fighting adventure game, or a first person shooter adventure game?

Both are excellent games.

For the record, I've never played any Zelda game or either of the previous Metroid games. I've played mostly FPS on the computer and I think the last third person game I played was Heretic II on the PC about 10 years ago. I guess I'm trying to find out which of the 2 is the most fun and will be most worth the $50.

Again, both are excellent. You cannot go wrong with either. The question is: Which type of game are you in the mood for?

EDIT: FWIW, if you really just want us to pick, then Zelda. But I'm a Zelda fanatic.

Zelda is the one Nintendo game franchise that truly pwns both Sony and Microsoft.

And Super Mario Kart.

Ah yes. Two franchises.

Heh, I always buy the Nintendo platforms for the first party releases. Zelda, Super Mario, Mario Kart.

But especially Zelda.

Just remember that Twilight Princess is not a true Wii game; it has Wii controls, but it was originally developed as a Gamecube game. I found the controls to be good, but it does feel like they were retrofitted on sometimes.

Don't get me wrong, it's an outstanding game. But, like I said, don't be surprised if you get the feeling that some of the Wii-style control isn't perfectly natural.

Since Zelda games are the only games I ever play on the Gamecube, I'm throwing in a vote for them.

I would vote for MP3. Better implementation of Wii controls. Some very cool features. Very long play.
