the good news for us is that it is our quadrannual trip to the orange bowl...
the bad news: is quadrannual even a word??

anyways every four years we go to the orange bowl the question is who will we play??

note to bob stoops: it is ok to win after jan 1st we won't be mad

As long as I don't have to go to Phoenix again...
Shreveport looks better to me

My very very early prediction would be the USC/OSU winner

It's more regular than LSU going to the Sugar every 4 years.

Well, I guess it is never too early.....BOOMER SOONER!!

We're not going to the Orange Bowl unless we get an at large bid.

ok because it was early when i posted this and also because i am dumb.....
let me try that again sorry about me but hopefully my point is getting accross even though i may not be smart enough to type it.....

for the football season 2008 ,2009 Fedex National championship game will be played in Miami. every 4 years, like clockwork, the University of Oklahoma participates in that game. this year should be no different because i believe we will be better next year than this year. so my question to you is what football program will we be playing in that game????

my early guess is probably georgia

thank you for you patience with me have a nice day :) :twinkies:

Has anyone watched Georgia QB Matthew Stafford over the last few years?

Notorious for having a really bad game where they inexplicably blow it all.

I like Moreno and their defense, but Stafford will lose a game for them.

The USC love is what kills me. Based on what? Sanchez and a defense that loses some serious NFL talent? Not to mention they play at Virginia and against Ohio State next year.

Welcome to balance...I don't see another dominant year like OU-USC in 2004 and Texas-USC in 2005 from anyone. A lot of talent out there now.

USC should handle both of their back-to-back games with OSU this autumn.

My Question is - Can we even Survive Spring Practice.....?? -- Whats our motto in 2008 ...?? "Win The Big 12 to get Slaughter in a BCS Game"...Yep thats sounds real motivating....!!!

Sorry for the delayed reaction to our last 3 bcs games...But I've kept my mouth shut up until now...Right now I'd rather SEE a Win in the Forth Worth Bowl than another Big hype loss in a BSC game....JMHO....!!
Blast away....But I've been biteing my tongue for a few years now.... :(
Yep - Not Rockin'

Yea we do seem to end up in the Orange Bowl every time the NC comes to Miami. Hopefully it continues next year, but with a MUCH better outcome than the last time

09/06/08 Central Michigan Chippewas
09/13/08 at South Carolina Gamecocks
09/20/08 at Arizona State Sun Devils
09/27/08 Alabama Crimson Tide
10/11/08 Tennessee Volunteers
10/18/08 Vanderbilt Commodores
10/25/08 at LSU Tigers
11/01/08 Florida Gators (Jacksonville, FL)
11/08/08 at Kentucky Wildcats
11/15/08 at Auburn Tigers

I don't see them getting through this one without at least 2 losses.

Well, if you are an SEC team you can play for the MNC with two losses. Should work for them.
