It doesn't look like Oklahoma is the only school with BCS bowl game issues. Some other programs appear to do just a little better (or worse) than others.

*Oklahoma, USC, Ohio State and Florida State are the only schools to play in at least 6 BCS Bowl games.

i don't think the BCS has been around long enough for those numbers to correlate to anything for one school, really

there are only 4 teams that have made it 6 times though. we happen to have the 2nd worst record of them...

now the SEC and Pac 10 have kinda had their way with the BCS from the looks of it though

the Pac-10 is 8-4 and the SEC is 11-4

the Big 12 is 6-8

That will make it nice should the Cotton become part of the BCS mix.

SUC's win % is better in Miami than it is at home ;)

This is why the BCS is worthless...we beat mizzou twice and lose to the #6 team in the country as Big 12 champs and end up ranked #8, mizzou loses to us twice, did not win the conf champ, and geats #31 ark and ends up ranked ahead of us. Makes no sense at all

Observations:

Only suc, Florida, Miami, Ohio State, and lsu have more BCS wins than us.

lsu has only gone to the Sugar. They've won every time. Golly.

suc has played in four Rose Bowls (3-1) and two Orange Bowls (2-0).

Miami is the only other team to go to all four BCS bowls. They only lost in the Fiesta.

The only downside that I see (other than lester the molester getting a MNC on his resume - blech) to last night's shoe-whipping is that Ohio State will get the criticism that we should have to face all year. The more lockerroom material (and I'm sure there will be some) the better. This team needs to feel disgraced, disrespected, and discounted. They need to feel like the whole world is against them. Only then, only then, can they rise up out of the ashes like a Phoenix and crack everybody's *** the other way next season.

The BCS has nothing to do with that.

We could easily have beaten MU twice during the regular season, get bounced in the first round of the playoffs, and have them just fall short of the championship to attain a higher ranking.

I would vote MU over us myself if I could. Our better was better than theirs.

But our worse sucked so bad it makes me want to puke.

Not to mention, the BCS is ONLY about 1 VS 2. The rest is just leftovers.

well of course it is all speculation shrouded in recent history ;) , but I think Ou shows up for a playoff alot more than a BCS game in which they stand to gain nothing other than a neat trophy?!
