Everyone has their arguments about how the BCS f's it up. I agree, but here's a different spin:
Even now, we still don't have a playoff and no way to determine who the best team is. At least, before we had the BCS, OU could play well in a bowl game (assuming they could) and be proclaimed the National Champions. Sure, they may have had to share it with someone else, but there wasn't an actual showdown for the title. Just my thoughts. Still the BCS sucks in every way. I'm just wondering how often Oklahoma will actually win the BCS title outright and I can think of a few years where, if the title game didn't exist, OU would've been voted NC either way.
