Returning Starters: 16
Offense: 7
WR Marcus Bennett (So.), WR Marshawn Gilyard (Jr.),WR Dominick Goodman (Sr.) TE Connor Barwin (Sr.), OT Khalil El-Amin (Sr.), OG Trevor Canfield (Sr.), C Chris Jurek (Jr.).

Defense: 7
DT Terrill Byrd (Sr.), DT Adam Hoppel (Sr.), LB Cory Smith (Sr.), LB Andre Revels (Jr.), CB Mike Mickens (Sr.), CB DeAngelo Smith (Sr.), S Cedric Tolbert (Sr.).

Special Teams: 2
K Jake Rogers (So.), P Kevin Huber (Sr.).

The Bearcats under head coach Brian Kelly run a copy of the spread offense. Gone on offense is QB Ben Mauk a three year starter for Cincinnati. They will be missing their entire backfield coming into the 2008 season. They run a base 4-3 defense under Kelly.

Cincinnati brings back plenty of experience, but who will lead their offense? Who will fill in for RB Butler Benton?

More info will come as the offseason continues.

OU 2008 non-conference scheule is going to be much stronger than 2007.
Cincinnati, Washington are much better than Tulsa and NTS.
If we get thru the non-conference with out a loss, we should have at least an 11 win season (not counting the Bowl game).

The off-season is like the Sahara desert. Losing a BCS bowl to end the season is like forgetting your cantine.

It's nice that we'll have a prestigious early game. If we come out strong, it'll help bury the WVA showing more quickly.
