You kind folks down there have a new Lion's Choice restaurant open at 4200 N. Penn. Being relatively new to the St. Louis area, I hadn't eaten at one of these until recently. Hu-wow. Think Arby's, but with better meat. Plus, I dig the horseradish sauce there an incredible amount. Anyone within range should try it out.

Get a sandwich with cheese, and fries with cheese. You're welcome.

There was a Lion's Choice restaurant about 25 years ago out at Crossroads Mall, the neighbor across the street was a manager there but it was a pseudo sit-down kind of place like Johnnie's or more alike Bonaparte's.

Had it for the first time last night. VERY good. Lion's Choice is to Arby's what Steak 'N' Shake is to McDonalds.

I was wary at first, but i'll never eat Arby's again if I have the choice between them and LC.

It is in the convenience store, but I was very pleasantly surprised. If you like roast beef, go and give it a try.

That was the Lion's Share.I went to that place with my parents when I was about 6. Then we went through one of those drive through Christmas light displays. My Dad kept having to pull over so I could barf.

You're aware that she's referring to the old place that doesn't exist anymore that doesn't have the same name and isn't at all what we're talking about, right?

k.

A buddy of mine who grew up in St. Louis was going on and on about how great it was to have that place opening. Haven't been there yet; I get twitchy when I have to go north of 36th Street. Anyway, I'm still POd that the BK in that space closed. I might boycott.

I agree, some of those displays are disgusting.
