Just thought I'd point out that Nate is the last OU quarterback to win a BCS bowl game. ;)

im sure if he'd been the qb last night, we would have won no problem

If he had played on defense last night and could tackle someone we might have won.

...avoiding the urge to say if he could coordinate a defense and get them ready to play in a bowl game we might have won.

ooopppps. that just slipped out :O

We've only had 1 QB to really **** me off to this day in the Stoops era....and his name ain't Nate! They've ALL ****ed me off for a day or 2, but only one of them is still waiting for the asskicking he's gonna get if I ever bump into him on the street!

LOL...vacate THIS!!!!

But the Idiot sure as hell didn't win or even ATTEND any BCS games. And if he woulda he woulda showed up, punched his time card, and Paul would have had to play anyway!

Pretty sure Bomar was on the sideline of the game of which we do not speak.

I can't believe I'm saying this years later, but I miss the days of Hybl. At least he played his heart out in the Rose Bowl. I'll never forget when he tried to lay that block for Q and he got planted firmly on his hindquarters and got up with bloody hands and laughing

Listen, I'm a Hybl defender to the hilt.

But...

...the O-line blocking for Hybl in the 2003 Rose Bowl wasn't piling up holding and personal foul penalties.

Seriously.

And they weren't doing this, which is my new all-time favorite penalty:

"Illegal formation on the offense. 6 Men on the line of scrimmage."

I was then and still remain a big Nate Hybl fan. Underrated and never appreciated.

Brings a smile to my face. The crushing hits he took in 2001 prepared him for that. :)
