First off, congratulations to the Jayhawks; I was rooting for them and enjoyed their victory over V-Tech.

This Jayhawk team reminds me so much of OU in 2000; a cohesive group of under-the-radar recruits who play well together and execute the offensive and defensive coaches' plans to perfection. Mangino succinctly crystallized what OU was so sorely lacking in the Fiesta Bowl: a team that works hard and is supported by hard-working coaches who put in the time to develop creative game plans.

When I saw KU today, I longed for the days of Leach and Mangino, when our offense was creative and often did the unexpected, catching the opposing team off-guard. The previous posts in this thread are right on target: OU has gotten away from what provided them with success at the beginning of Stoops' great run.
