This Sunday at 6:30, come out to the Fox & Hound at 71st and Garnett to dine on sumptuous pub fare, drink sumptuous pub drinks, meet your fellow Tulsa-area posters, and watch the mighty Tulsa Golden Hurricane close out the local bowl season against the vaunted Bowling Green Falcons.

You know you're not doing anything else anyways. Might as well be sociable. :D

Too close to hell town. I thought you were a Buc fan?

I am, but I'm making concessions to try and boost attendance. It's not fair that I always make the southsiders come inland and breathe smoke for hours. This way, picasso has to come up with some other reason for not showing up. :D

Well, I'm a midtowner too anything south of 71st is too new and shiny. ;)

Well then lucky for you it's on the north side of 71st. No excuses now. ;)

It may be a mile away from our apartment, but we probably won't be there. There's a TU fan here at work, and we'll probably be watching with her because she has TONS of beer.

We'll try and soldier on through the tangible disappointment. ;)

I knew you wouldn't let me down, Champ.

You know, they have expressways now. Ties the city together into a neat little bow. :D

Sorry I missed it...was up at the Hospital with my Bro.

We watched it together until 8 PM when I went to check on my Mom and my Family.

Great win for TU.

Great game.

Yeah, Fish and I were sitting next to a bunch of 'Cane fans that had a boombox with them. Every time we scored, they'd play the siren and "Rock You Like A Hurricane". Good times. :D

That'd get a little tiring after about the eigth or ninth time. :D

Yeah, it got a little tiring in the first half. The guy really didn't have a knack for knowing when exactly to do it.

Congrats on a successful Tulsa gathering. Normally that'd be like getting a group of pop stars to the free clinic.;)

I don't really know how "successful" it was. The only other confirmed attendee (Homey) completely no-showed, and Fish didn't get there until the end of the first half. Epic fail. :D

Were you in the pool hall area or the bar area? I was in the normal restaurant section away from all the undesirables. ;)

bri

Pool hall area.

NormanPride

Dang. No wonder I didn't see you. We looked around, but it was too smoky over there. I know, we're pansies. At least we were there!

bri

Yeah, but if I didn't see you then it doesn't count. We go by '05 Orange and '08 Fiesta Bowl rules. :D
