The holy guacamole pistols firing guy just finished his broadcast at Tempe saying, "the Cowboys win their bowl game for the second year in a row and move their All-Time Bowl record to 12-6, #1 in the Big 12 Conference!!!"

I checked us out. We are 24-15-1 which is .613 winning percentage. They are apparently 12-6 or .667 winning percentage.

Using that criteria Eastern Michigan and UNLV are the best, both have a 1.000 percentage. EMU has won all one of their bowl games and UNLV is 3-0.

Insight Bowls vs BCS Bowls

7 NC's vs 0

head to head record something like 89-17 in OU's favor

I think there best Bowl opponent was Wyoming in the late 80's

what's their record in BCS games? or National Title games? or B12 Championship games.

Ain't that the truth, they can turn the most meaningless stats towards their favor, totally over looking the "bigger picture" and just using what fits for them.

We turned on the radio to check out the game and heard Indiana score a TD with 1 second left. Then Hunsiker's nonsense about 12-6. My wife and I looked at each other and started laughing.

Even the broadcaster is delusional.

Um, it's easy to have a higher percentage in bowls when you're playing Indiana, as opposed to playing West Virginia, Miami, USC, LSU, FSU,....etc.

Aggie idiots.

Whoopee!! All this discussion over a bowl game that didn't even rate being telecast on any of the cable channels, or the mainstream news channels (ABC, CBS, NBC). Or at least it was so in San Antonio. I checked everywhere to see if I could at least see a little of the game. Nothing, nada, zilch, zero, uh-uh, none being telecast on any channel. I have Time-Warner, and this game simply was not on the tube.

Did any of the rest of you have any problems finding this telecast? I couldn't believe it was NOT on Time-Warner.

This is so awesome :)

Give the Aggies credit. When they make it to an actual bowl game, they win most of the time.

Now... if they count our game as the bowl game, we all know the record there :D:D:D

So aggies, please start counting the actual bowl game as the bowl game from now on. It will give you modest bragging rights!

Somehow he forgot to mention that victories in the "Who gives a rat's rear bowl" are a little easier to come by than Orange, Rose, Fiesta, Sugar etc. Bowls. For years I've said that I'm an OU fan everyday, and an OSU fan 364 days a year. No more, the internet has allowed their crazed fan base to crawl out from under their collective rocks where they've cowered for years, and it's not pretty.

I am sorry that you have TWC, I only have them for internet and they are fine for that but suck for TV. I don't care to pay for something that has a channel dedicated to Whorn athletics.

The game was on NFL Network, TWC does not have NFL Network. I watched it on Directv.

Time Warner Cable is sort of like kissing your sister. Not really better than OTA programming. Nut up, get a real TV service.

They showed it on Cox here in Tulsa. However, the rest of you had to depend on the Neffel Network.

Oh, and WHAT IS IT with these weird looking bowl trophies that OSU keeps winning? Last year was an urn for Eddie Sutton's ashes (his ashes at Oklahoma State, as he is dead to them for coaching at a different school, hehe) and this year it's a giant flying turd... or a dick. Whatever it is, it is really strange and not something that men should be kissing

There have been some very cool trophies this year. I thought it was awesome that the Liberty Bowl gave out a bell that the Crooms wouldn't stop ringing after beating UCF. However, STOP MAKING CRAPPY TROPHIES!

That's the spirit!.. well.. aggie spirit, which apparently includes licking phalli. If you pick another 7 random years to claim then your marketing department can print "World's Most Offensive Football Program EVAR!" on the ticket ads.

Not that they couldn't print that every year, but still...

;)
