IMHO 2-loss LSU is in the BCS champ game based on the myth, evidently made true by repetition in the national media- that the SEC is the greatest football conference evar. That is, the SEC is so great, that whoever wins that conference is necessarily better than the winner of any other conference.

I'm generally for Alabama, especially when they play LSU. Get Saban a reliable QB, and they will do some damage. (At least they'd better whip dem tigabatas.)

Many people don't realize Saban took a paycut when he came to Alabama. He wanted to get back into the college game, so he went to Bama.

Being a Bama fan as well, the money that he's being paid (regardless of this 7-6 season) is definitely going to pay dividends. Bama's got the 2nd ranked recruiting class by Rivals right now and it's only going to get better with him in Tuscaloosa. You can only do so much with a team that's got "Shula" in them and the fans know that.
