had coached for OU instead of Penn State and had the same records and seasons that he has had at penn State, would you would have wanted him to retire already or allow him to retire when he wants to do so?

Personally, he's a legend but I think I would have liked a change several years ago from a win/loss stand point.

Tough call for me really.

I think it was Pop Warner or Alonzo Stagg or something and there was no forward passing

i mean it's like Bowden at Free Shoes. he built that place.

it will be a long time before anyone stays somewhere like that again

He's earned the right to hang it up at a time of his choosing. That being said I do think they'd be better off if he did hang it up, unless of course they went and hired an idiot which is always a possibility.
