First, kudos to the t-sips for a fine Big 12 victory.

That said, Colt looked like a deer in the head lights most of the night. That texass o-line needs major improvement during the spring to compete for the South division in 08. I don't see texass winning the line of scrimmage in October at the Cotton Bowl.

ponyboy ran for like 1200 yards last night!!!! not sure who's to blame - texas opening up holes that really aren't suppose to be there - or - asu playing man all night with all of ut's receivers running fly patterns and all 3 linebackers chasing after them.

Colt doesn't worry me any more today than he will next year. 4 fumbles.

They lose 3 of their top 4 WR, both DT's, 3 of 4 DB's and a LB. That's alot to lose.

Course the DB;s were nothing to brag about this year. ;)

Talk to any whorn fan and they'll tell you, losing their senior LB's and DB's will be addition through subtraction for the saxet defense.

Losing our senior linebackers and DCs will be addition through subtraction for our defense.

If we can have Akina step down and bring in a real defensive coordinator, we will show improvement on the defensive side of the ball. DT will be solid but very thin.

On offense, we started one senior last night, Nate Jones. The rest of the offense returns. Sweed was lost early in the year.

Colt was maddeningly inconsistent.. makes a brilliant run only to fumble the ball at the 4 into the end zone.

Nonetheless.. 2008 is OU's year to lose. Your offensive line is back and depth looks good. The only way OU does not play for the national championship is if there is an inexplicable melt down in one game, the injury bug hits or you get a bad bounce.
