Texas has far more talent and is clearly the better team. So a lot of ASU's suckiness is due to Texas' good play.

But that doesn't explain a QB who underthrows his WR by five yards, or the complete inability to tackle on defense. This ASU team is horrid.

What's next, a photo of the kid crying as a baby meeting Santa, or them chasing his mama down at the Piggly Wiggly? STFU already. There's a game afoot. That's what you're being overpaid to cover, not this non-story.

The higher the "confidence points", the more that people feel confident in that team winning. In other words, if it's 32 out of 32, that means people feel that is the biggest mismatch of all the bowls. 1 out of 32 means people are the most unsure who is going to win.

Nice recovery by Texas, even with the penalty yards. The composed themselves and punched it in. Good for them.

I can't imagine that fella coming out of the locker room after halftime. If so... dude's got some serious cajones.

I thought that was the ranking of the confidence of the Fiesta Bowl compared to all the other bowls. In other words, there are 32 bowls and they were ranked in confidence (by ESPN on their bowl preview show) as to how confident they (ESPN) were that OU would win.

Maybe, I don't know what the rules are. But the call was that he touched the ball, and I don't think he did.

After watching the replay several times there is NO WAY that he touched the ball. If the call is that he touched the ball the call was flat out wrong. Funny as hell, but wrong.

Seems to me the call should have been a second sideline warning. You don't get penalized until the 3rd.

Looks like it is going to be a blowout anyway but I can't wait for the farks.

They certainly do in Arkansas - it's like "ok, Arkansas sucks, but we suck in the SEC - THE TOUGHEST CONFERENCE IN THE WORLD!". Seriously, you would find people here that are convinced that the Patriots would lose at least 3 games if they played an SEC schedule.

I constantly hear about how Arkansas would have 4 or 5 BCS appearances if they were in the Big 12....

Hell, I thought the replay was evidence that he didn't touch it. As far as I could tell, the ball didn't change trajectory.

Well, if the guy is several yards onto the playing field, reaching down to grab a live ball and coming within a millimeter of the ball I don't think it should matter. As far as I'm concerned he should not have been there and in no way deserves the same benefit of the doubt that a legitimate player deserves.

maybe they intentionally told the sideline reporter the wrong name.

Like no one is going to find out. The broadcast crew already dropped a Bartman reference. Since it happened to the Whorns it is funny but if that happened to a Sooner and ESPN starting having a huge monkey orgasm over it while zooming in on the poor guy I'd be ****ed big time.
