Any word on when trash collection will commence? Its starting to back up here.

i was in Norman until about 11 AM today and neither my mom or dad had any problems with that. to my knowledge in the last week.

Ours came yesterday and the big trash came today which is stupid because they aren't picking up anything.

You have to sort of gather it all and put it in a pile out on the curb. Preferably bagged.

hmmm. I could see the week of the ice and maybe the week after. But I still didnt get it picked up Wednesday.

The city has an excellent email newsletter that explains a lot of great stuff, including trash pickups, road work, town meetings, fires, etc...I think about 2 in 10 are truly germane to me and interesting, but they are worth all the ones that aren't...

if there is a holiday in the week, it is usually the next day. Like our pickup is normally today, but they will come tomorrow

during the holidays, Monday has regular pickup. Tuesday will be on Wed, Wed on Thur, Thur on Friday, Fri on Sat.

does anyone know when the curbside recycling is supposed to start???? I'm sick of schlepping it down to the old target.
