Is that his newest one? last I read was "Innocent Man"

I have not read one of his books in a long time. I usually like them, I need to catch up. I think the last one I read was The Painted House?? something like that.

Has he taken a turn away from his "legal" story lines?

I think so. The last one I read was not at all a legal story. I think he exhausted that topic.

I'm glad to hear that he's changed storylines. I was getting burned out on all that legal mumbo jumbo stuff.

Although I have to admit "A Time To Kill" is probably one of my all time favorite reads.

I'm going to check out his newer stuff today. Any recommendations at which one I should read first?

The Painted House was his first attempt at a non-legal novel. It was good I thought. I think they ever turned it into a made for tv movie or some **** like that. "The Broker" was another one of his non-legal type books, good read.

Thanks! I'll check into getting one or both of those today.

I liked The Painted House. A bit slow but a good story from what I remember.

I will have to get some of his newer stuff too.

Just finished it myself. Pretty good. He has another football related book called Bleachers that is good, also.
