why the hell is it called Blue Bell Homemade Ice Cream?? There is nothing homemade about it. If it was homemade then it would not have any corn syrups, unnecessary additives and preservatives and artificial flavors.

If they're unnecessary, then why would they waste the money to put them into the recipe?

Corn syrups get used because they're cheaper than regular sugar. Subsidies keep the prices on that crap artificially low.

Preservatives get used so the ice cream will have a shelf life resembling that of a block of wood.
