I cut up my boxes yesterday and crammed them into big blue. Does anyone else cut up their boxes?

And yes I know Boxing day has nothing to do with cutting up boxes.

I give all my boxes to the needy on this holiday.

You need a third option for burning.

We burn a lot of our boxes and what not down in Waco. We're scared to put it out on the curb lest the neighbor folk see it and try to break into the house (keep in mind we live in Bellmead).

For example, when I bought my TV we REALLY didn't want to put a box for an HDTV out front. The neighbors already stole a futon we had on the back patio and then had the audacity to put it on their back patio the next day.

So we take all of those boxes, cut them up, and then burn them in this big metal trash can we have outside. We call it a "hobo bonfire" and we usually grill and make an evening of the festivity.

Yep, except the ones that I can use for shipping.

I don't cut them but I do break them down so they'll fit in the trash can. Where's the option for that?

I break the big ones down and keep them in my garage. Then whenever I am gathering items together for a garage sale, or to give to goodwill, or if someone I know needs a box, I usually have what I need.

I cut them up if I get rid of them, but I usually maintain a stockpile of boxes cause they are damn useful.

Broke them down and took them to the recycling bins in the Hollywood Shopping Center parking lot.

In a lot of places, you're required to cut up and bundle your cardboard or the trash guys won't take them. that's how it works at my grandma's house in New Joisey.

You people should just burn it. I'm telling you -- that's the way to go!

Or you could, you know, recycle it. Rather than converting it into useless ash and greenhouse gases.

Does anyone else cut up their boxes?

What? And ruin a perfectly good fort? I'm not sure I understand the question...
