It's a blizzard

I got back to my home town of Alva, OK yesterday. I wake up this morning, around 10. Look out my windown, and can see about 20 feet. windchill of 9 degrees, sustained winds of 25-30 and still snowing. It looks like Wisconson. How's the weather down in norman?

I lived in Alva for two weeks back in the summer of '86.

Spent a lot of time face down on the floor in Snoopy's and the Knotty Pine.

And their respective parking lots.

I drove from NW 160 & MacArthur to Del City early this morning for a X-Mas present for the kids. On the way home from Del City, I pretty much had the truck in 4WD all the way home. I also saw 4 accidents on the way home, all on the Broadway Extension going south bound.

Unfortunately, seeing all of those wrecks didn't seem to slow some of the drivers down, which really didn't surprise me sadly enough.

We just got home from the movie - the roads are pretty slick in NW OKC.

snoopy's? never heard of it, where was it at? I still visit the Pine, and the Office. Ira's is shut down now.

Roads are slick. I saw cars spinning all around I-40 from OKC to Yukon and back today.
