The wind has been blowing about 50mph since last night & gusting to about 60. There's snow drifts about 3-4 feet out by the rig, my sat dish fell over, & the daylight crew got stuck trying to get here.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. (http://www.geocities.com/soonerborn91/rigs/moscowblizzard.wmv)

With the 50 mph winds, I think I'll watch all the shows that have been piling up on the DVR. :D
I'm in no rush to go outside today.

Yep, about 30 miles NW. We've cemented twice & possibly a third after time drilling this kelly. They've had to pull up twice--which is never a good sign.
It's suppose to be sunny & 40 degrees tomorrow. Mrs. '68 & the kids are going to try to come up. Of course that was the plan for today. :(

Heard today a worker on one of our rigs ripped open three fingers. Turns out three of the guys on the floor tested positive. I take it they will be fired?

My gas equipment acts up this time of year, too, but I think it's just because it's chili season.

you wanna drive up to Wichita to mow our lawn? It's pretty huge, and you run the risk of falling into the pond. :D Plus you'd have to dig through about 6 inches of snow... if you can make it through the 1.5' snowdrift in the street.

Nice little 80-car pileup here at Amarillo yesterday. Woke up at 8am yesterday and couldn't see out my apartment window. I'm really glad I got moved in Thursday night and not over the weekend.
