Tonsils out today

My 2.5 year old daughter just had her tonsils/adnoids out and ear tubes put in today.

She wants to tell you guys something. Here she goes:

the docs put tubes in my ears and removed my adnoids, but left my damn tonsils. I get strep about 2x a year :mad:

Never had tubes but did have my adenoids out. Still have my tonsils.

Hope she's OK by Christmas morning.

our son is on his 5th set of tubes in his ears. He is 11. He was born with fluid in his ears (unbeknownst to us). And then his hearing wasn't developing as well and kept getting infections.

He learned how to hear as if you were underwater. Therefore he a bit of a speech impediment. But his academics don't suffer for it. His left ear is fine, but his right ear has hearing loss.
