Santa always used to wrap my presents when I was a kid. Santa Didn't wrap VK's presents when she was a kid.

We have quite a controversy going here and there is only one way to solve it.

Depended on his mood. Presents that physically fit in the stocking weren't wrapped, ones that didn't were.

If the presents are wrapped, how can the kiddos sneak into the living room at 3 am to see what they got? That was one of the best parts of Christmas.

Santa not only wrapped the presents in my house he put up the tree!!! The living room would go from zero to christmas in one night. It is the best ever.

Yes. Santa wraps presents. In wrapping paper entirely different from any paper used on any other presents under the tree. You know, so you can tell which ones are from Santa. (Classy paper, no cartoon farting reindeer or anything.)

Oh, and it's also paper that cannot be found anywhere in the house, because you know kids have found all the wrapping paper hidey-holes.

;)

Bwahahahahaaaaaa....

I don't remember what they were. Smallish boxes that appeared under the tree overnight. Wrapped in gold paper, when all the other presents under the tree were clearly green or red.

we always left santa's presents unwrapped simply to distinguish what was from santa and what wasnt

the presents from mom and dad went under the tree a week or so before christmas - purely to torment us i'm sure

but on christmas morning, the way to know that he had been there (short of knowing that dad was out of bed) was to see the unwrapped presents under the tree

We had this same discussion last weekend. Santa didn't wrap mine, but wrapped the wifes presents.

Santa's not wrappin anything here this year.

See, in our house - generally speaking - all presents from one person get wrapped in the same paper. Mom's presents were in one paper, dad's were in another, grandma's were in another... and then on christmas morning there was a batch of presents in entirely unfamiliar paper.

(Not that they used the same design every year or anything crazy like that. Just that generally once you started wrapping you kept using the same roll of paper.)

Why would Santa wrap presents? That's so wasteful to buy all that paper.

Santa never brought the really good presents unless it was something that had to be put together.

No, Santa does not wrap. Paper is heavy and would just slow down the reindeer. He just hangs tags on the gifts. :D

Exactly! What is this "paper would slow down the reindeer" business? The reindeer don't obey any other laws of physics, why would inertia apply? ;)

Santa doesn't wrap jack. That's because once he's done magic-ing himself down that chimney, he just snaps his fingers and the presents appear under the tree. Of course they wouldn't appear wrapped, that'd just be silly.

So, if the Keebler dudes got with Smurfette, would there be blue cookies?

Or, green Smurfs with not-so-downsized packages and would dey be wrapped?

Would Papa Smurf have cookie envy?

Actually, this being the South Oval, 73% error rate is actually better than usual.

It all depends on how much time or energy "Santa" has left come Christmas Eve/Christmas Morning.

Usually, Santa does not wrap at our house, I love seeing the girls faces as they walk in and see the gifts.

I think my Santa wrapped my presents when I was little.
