Well...

Our little girl is in surgery right now and I actually figured out how to connect to the wireless network here.

Everybody has been really nice and the Docs even call our Cell during the procedure to let us know how things are going. It's a 5 hour procedure so the Wifey and I are trying to keep busy.

My internet connection has been down since the "Hi!" thread I started.

Anyway...I hope all is well with you folks.

God Bless and Merry Christmas!

Thanks all...

They had the Fire Alarm go off "CODE RED" awhile ago and then after a few moments they announced it was just a drill. "Code Red" wasn't exactly what you want to hear while your kid is in surgery.

They just called again and everything is going great with her. They will be done soon...just not soon enough for us however.

I hung out with hospitalized kids today as Santa visited them. Not a fun place for them to be this time of year.

Hope all goes well and your little girl has a wonderful Christmas.

The OU Childrens Medical Center had a Christmas Shop today and all the sick and recovering kids got to go down there and pickout gifts for Mom, Dad, little Brother and herself. No money needed. They also had folks who wrapped the presents and labeled them for the kids.

I have to say this...

OU Childrens Medical Center has some of the nicest, most caring, talented people I have ever had the pleasure to meet in such a tough situation.

If your kid needs Medical help and you come here....your in great hands.

We'll know if we're going to be able to go Home around 2 pm hopefully.

Thanks to all of you for your prayers and best wishes.

Thanks IB...

The Docs were just in and are cutting her orders to go Home.

We'll be on our way in an hour or two.

I got a cordless Dremel.

I've got one with a cord and it has the flexible extension.

The cordless will come in handy for those hard to get to things.

I'll be OK. :D

Update:

The girl has been Home for a few days now.

She spent the night at a friend's hOUse last night and was trying to see if it was OK to have some girls over here tonight...(No Freakin Way :D)...

She seems to be over it now...

We go back to have a stint removed in 3 weeks.

She doesn't much care to be reminded of that right now.

Thanks again to you all...
