There should be an NCAA rule against stuff like that.

Why do the Sooners have to share OKlahoma with the orangeaggy ALL THE TIME?...fergodssakes!

Would you rather have to share the same geographic location with us or have our respective bowl games shown on the same network?

Why do the Sooners have to share OKlahoma with the orangeaggy ALL THE TIME?...fergodssakes! Exactly my point. We earned the right to play in a BCS bowl game only to end up sharing space with...them. They should be made to go elsewhere. What were the bowl people thinking? http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y86/OUmom/iced22.gif

Interesting point here. If we did share the same network with OSU, that would mean one of two things.

1.) Bob Stoops has left OU, and we are playing in the Charmin Sh*t Paper Bowl

-or-

2.) Hell has frozen over and OSU has made it to a BCS game (Cotton will be BCS before long)

Yes, but it's New Year's Eve (and it's aggy vs. Indiana) so nobody will be watching.

Any chance there's a third choice, like maybe, oh I dunno, eugenics?

Or maybe we could gather up all the "mothers of children" and pass out retro active birth control pills? [hairGel]

If it makes you feel better, there won't be very many Pokes there for you to see.

A huge city in terms of land area and only a few thousand pokes...we should be okay.

I don't feel bad sharing Arizona with them. First off, how many will be there?
4,000?

Their game will be on the NFL network and shown in Oklahoma only in OKC on a regular station. So, Tulsa fans and others outside of OKC won't be able to see it.

They are a 6-6 team.

I just want to find out if they still "travel well" when their "we're bowl eligible" team is in Arizona instead of Texas or Shreveport.

We've talked about doing that...probably would be cheaper to take the kids to that game than the ASU game we went to this season.:D

Hey, why don't we all pony up $55 and go to their game.

And wear our red.

You could always sit with the Indiana fans.:D I'm not sure that cheap tickets could overcome the fact that I'd have to see that many aggies in one place. Being away from them is one of the benefits of living out here.

Now be nice. It is just like Oklahoma. We play a few miles apart. We play in the big game on Saturdays here, and they play two nights before us to a smaller TV audience.

I'll bet most Pokes are stocking up on their Mountaineer gear for the game they're REALLY traveling to see. :D

They don't travel well when the game is in Stillwater!
