At least you can use it. I always tries to download a .dll on my Mac instead of just opening my damn inbox

I usually use Outlook, but I only brought my laptop home with me for the holidays, not my desktop. I don't use outlook on this computer. And if i'd realized exchange was so retarded, I would have typed the email in microsoft word instead.

Did you try Ctrl-Alt-Del?

Sooner_Havok

if your inbox isn't retarded huge like mine, Mail.app works okay using IMAP, and isn't gonna time out like that

but it should also have most of it in the Drafts folder if it didn't send

proud gonzo
12/18/2007, 03:08 PM
oh, it had an email in the drafts folder. it had the address and subject with an entirely blank email saved.

yermom

yeah, i guess if it times out while you are filling out the form it's not gonna hit the server

to be fair, the old mail system did the same thing

proud gonzo

on the old system (at least from what i remember) you could hit Back and still have your email there, copy and paste, then log on and try it again. No such luck this time.

If they would just have one check box at lo in that asked if you were at a public terminal, then this wouldn't be a problem. They time it out so yo won't leave your email up and walk away.

You should have sent it instead of deleting it.

You should have sent it instead of deleting it.

That's what I was thinking. No one takes any responsibility for their actions anymore.

[:dean:]Quit being so damn cheap and buy a stamp already.[/:dean:]I would just send a letter, but my cousin's probably traveling for the holidays and I'm not sure what part of the country he's in right now. Could be NY/NJ, could be Atlanta, could be Florida.

Just send him a text message.

Just send him a text message.yeah, a 160 character text message is really going to be a convenient way to send a 600+ word email

I rarely have problems with exchange. It rocks, via web, or connection with outlook. There are a few changes I would like to see. I didn't even have a single problem when the subsea fibre lines failed due to the earthquakes last year.
