NEVER buy bowl tickets from OU unless the tickets are for the national championship game. Otherwise, you can get them for no more than 40 cents on the dollar and they will generally be substantially better than what OU sticks you with since Boren and his big dollar cronies get anything decent and their tickets usually cost the same face value. 400 level seats for $135.00 subsidize mid-level seats. Thirty seconds ago, which is not an exaggeration, I saw 440 section seats on row 21 on sale for $10.00, that is not a typo, TEN dollars, on a secondary market sale website. Shipping will cost more than the ticket price for the tickets.

Sounds like our athletic department is flat out ripping off loyal fans. Bad mojo.

Last year I bought tickets the day of the game on the way to the fiesta bowl. I was sitting on the 50 yard 30 rows up, I was 3 rows behind Boren. I paid $120 per ticket.

Last night at the women's game they were hawking them over the PA for $135 and saying get them before they sellout. My guess is that a lot of people don't want to go to the desert two years in a row.

You are very brave.

There is no way I'd spend thousands getting there and take the risk of not even getting into the game because I couldn't part with an additional couple hundred dollars to get my tickets in advance. But I'm fairly risk-adverse.
