Focusing in with my ADD as much as possible:

This isn't a referendum on whether there should be playoffs.

This is a pole deciding if we need another thread discussing said playoffs.

I believe we have enough playoff threads at this point. It is too ungainly and threatens the sancity and tradition of the threads to tinker with a system that, admittedly is sorta broke.

Perhaps 4 threads, no more than 8? This needs to include an at-large thread as well...

This year shows the threads that are left aren't necessarily the best threads, agreed?

I think we should make like ESPN and take some playoff ideas, rank them, and have a virtual playoff using the poll feature to determine the outcome of each matchup. Then we can determine once and for all what the best playoff idea is for 2007...and do the same thing again next year. A yearly playoff idea championship.
