The only playoff that makes sense

is to do a pre season playoff with all 119 teams. Let Florida International have the bye. Play it down to 24 teams and start the regular season. Let the schools that get knocked out go ahead and start basketball practice. Play one game a weekend until there is only 2 teams left and then settle it in the Octagon like real men do.

I was leaning more towards 1 team captain from each team competing in a Connect Four playoff to seed the teams in the pre-playoff
