My mom has like a 6 carrot pear shaped that she got from the last *** hole she married. That is the UGLIEST damn ring I have ever seen, but it could buy a really nice double wide so hey.

Hate to break up the consensus, but........I'm not real big on diamonds (colored stones are much prettier) and I don't like platinum settings at all. 3 cts would be much too big for my hand size. I would, however, be extremely impressed with a savings bond. ;) For me, OU football season tickets to include away games & bowl trips would absolutely be the best gift!!! :D


It is obviously a genetic defect as my mother hates shopping and wears no jewelry (ever) but her wedding ring.


But if that's what she chose, you really can't lose.

I saw some man-made diamonds recently. You really cant tell the difference between natural mined diamonds and man made diamonds. I do like diamonds but I'm so practical that I can always think of something I would actually enjoy having better.
