Drop the dead weight and only have 88 teams in FCS. Eight conferences of eleven teams. Teams play every other team in the conference, best record wins conference so no championship games. BCS style ranking system decides seeding for the 8 team playoff at the end of the year. This is brilliant.

There are some schools who play football without any expectations of ever making it to the BCS, in other words, "just for the fun of the game.

Those colleges you're giving the boot to are bound to love it...and no doubt their presidents will vote for it. :D

Define: dead weight. Would this be all of the directional schools and/or your smaller conference teams? OR is this taking the cream of the crop from each conference regardless of size or tradition?
