Why do these ****ing antibiotics (bactrim) give me hellacious gas? I have been on them for a week, and got another one to go. It has been entertaining for a while, now it is just down right filthy.

Antibiotics have a tendency to kill off the normal flora located in your gastrointestinal tract, which can cause the gas and/or loose stools.

You may want to eat some yogurt, or take some acidophilous (you can get it in the pharmacy over the counter) to help prevent any of the side effects.
