I was channel surfing recently and ran across a Steven Seagal movie(I don't recall which one)and instantly I realized that Mr. Ponytail is possibly the worst actor of all time.I cannot really think of anyone else who comes close.

He gets a pass for Under Seige. That movie kicks total ***.

Keanu Reeves probably isn't the absolute worst, but he's at least worthy of honorable mention. Even the other one in Bill & Ted out-acted him.

The acting in Lost In Space is pretty godawful.

But Paulie Shore doesn't try to be anything but Paulie Shore, so technically he's not acting. There are people who try to act and just suck at it.

Keanu is pretty bad. Actors like Van Damme or Segal I wouldn't think should be considered since they're more athletes that have crossed over instead of being an actor first. It's kind of a given that they're going to suck... but of the two, JCVD is definitely worse than Segal.

I thought SLJ was pretty good in Jackie Brown as well. He plays a pretty good bad ***.

Stallone and Cage can ruin a movie almost as fast as Robin Williams, although Cage in Leaving Las Vegas was really good.

McConnagay had one role that fit him perfectly - Wooderson in Dazed and Confused, other than that he has been pretty bad.

actually, I have seen it a few times, mainly because there is a good cast in it: Chappelle, Rhames, Buscemi, Cusack, Gainey, Malkovich, Williamson and Potter. Now, I will admit Cage's accent sure was annoying but still quite a thriller. Although, not as thrilling as The Rock.

Caruso wasn't all that terrible in King of New York (a highly underrated movie), but that movie was carried by Christopher Walken, Laurence Fishburne, and Wesley Snipes among others.

Jade on the other hand is why he no longer gets movie scripts ;)

Jon Heder doing anything not Napoleon Dynamite does stink like the brimstone of hades.

I'm not a fan of Cage, but I think his bad wrap is due to picking horrible scripts. Same thing for Afflec.

McConagay was good in "A Time to Kill", as was Samuel L. Jackson. Speaking of SLJ, I don't get how he could be included.

I forgot about Caruso. That guy is horrible. HORRIBLE.

Yep, which is why he can't be considered the worst ever... that movie is a classic! I also thought he was good in Matchstick Men.

Aflac gets exempted for his role in Good Will Hunting, as does Robin Williams... speaking of which, he shouldn't be mentioned in this thread since he's had tons of great performances. Some of my personal faves other than the aforementioned GWH are Awakenings, What Dreams May Come, and Dead Poets Society. Great stuff right there.

Seagal is plainly the worst, and Chuck Norris could kick his butt!
