Just checking the college hoops scores this morning from work and noticed that Texass is playing Wisconsin in Austin and having a bit of trouble with those pesky badgers. They are tied up at 24 with 6 minutes left in the first half.

Meanwhile, Purdue was losing 16-0 at home to a 3-7 Florida International team!

They have since gone on a 10-0 run ti make it 16-10 with 5 minutes left in the first. Talk about needing a wake up call!

Wow... can you say OVER RATED? Wish I wasn't stuck at work and could have watched that game (and all the others) but from the last couple of games I saw Texass play they didn't look as impressive as the media has hyped them up to be.

Abrams looked like he was ball hogging and James (the traitor) looked flat footed in previous games. Anyhow, bad for the Big XII perhaps and not nearly as bad a home loss as SFA but still it makes me happy to see them lose.

That and the way their players leave their assignment and completely commit to the ball handler in the paint leaves two sometimes three people open. With good spacing and better awareness, I think a team with good shooters could eat that up.

Big XII is getting really interesting now. It looks like UT and KU will reamain on top, but the two spots after that are almost anyone's to grab.

Whatever teams can win 3 of the next 4 should have a great chance at getting a bye in the conference tournament.

And the crazy thing is, there is no telling at this point which teams will step up.

That loss at CU is really starting to look bad. They only have one other win in conference.

Sweeping two of the three teams tied with OU in the standings is a big plus. These last two weeks before the post-season should be crazy!

It's been so hard this year to keep a consistent lineup with the injuries to L2 and Griffin. Losing Moose really didn't help, as well...

Hopefully as time passes L2 will get back into the 10+ points a game groove he had before, and Griffin will be more fresh. Crocker and AJ need to stay at least mediocre from behind the arc if we're going to pull a couple more wins out of our hats. :)

I did. Have to give them credit. Leo Lyons had a career night for MU. In fact if he had done only half as well it would have been a career night. OSEWE outworked MU down the stretch though.

I believe OSU was 14-23 from 3 pt range.

Baylor is losing by 1 at the half vs Mizzou. I don't know what to think of that if they lose. It would help us in the standings, but their computer numbers would get worse.

TTech is up 4 at the half vs Texas. If Tceh can pull this one out, it could improve their RPI to the point where we can count our wins over them as 2 more quality wins. Ohh, and we obviously own the tiebreaker over them too. Thank you Godbold.

that would be nice; though, taking Tech out of the NCAA picture altogether wouldn't displease me. i'd like to see some teams off the conference "bubble". it was a little crowded when the day started.

Actually, I'd like Tceh to win a lot so that we can keep claiming our wins over them as top 50 wins. They're RPI is like 49, and a loss could knock them out of the top 50.

from what you read post-game, he and Capel had a pretty good chess match in Lubbock. and he foxed our guys coming out of that inbounds, until Godbold bails us out.
