I have a temp doing part of my job right now because I'm doing someone else's job while she is on maternity leave. I created this book with step by step instructions on how to do EVERYTHING that I do in my job. this temp has been here since October, she should have most of this stuff figured out and if she doesn't THERE ARE STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS complete with URL's for folders and files that we use on the intranet, diagrams, and templates for emails that need to be sent out. She has asked me about 10 questions today that she should be able to figure out on her own. I'm trying to be very patient, but I'm real grouchy today for some reason.

I was going to tell you to "put on more clothes", but I guess I misunderstood the title.

Nevermind.

in those step by step instructions did you include the SF.com URL and create a user ID for her? after all, she is doing part of your daily work. :pop:

she's just a temp...she wants to stay here permanently, but we are not sure if maternity leave girl is coming back or not. and when my boss did my performance review the other day, he asked me to talk to her about talking on the phone too much. so he might let her go and bring someone else in if we decide we need someone permanently.

Yes, it's a bit nippely out. I mean nippy out. What did I say, nipple? Ah, there is a nip in the air though.
Put on a sweater.

I feel your pain sb.

Ain't nothing worse at work than a pain in the *** co-worker.

I recommend a bottle of Chardonnay. It does wonders.

I used to work for an Abstract and Title Company. I never did "get it." I was the only dude in the office, and by some odd coincidence, the only one who couldn't 'multi-task.' WTF ever that means. Those girls loved to make fun of me because my stress level was through the roof. It drove me deep into an alcoholic binge, and I resigned in disgrace and took up truck driving.

My office days are over.
