I don't see how we can't put this guy at RB when he gets to OU. He looks like a freak of nature with the ball in his hands.

Brando?

What's with Liberty Hill's helmets? I hate teams that put sticker crap on their lids.

Gilmer lost to Libery Hill 38-13 by the way. Justin Johnson returned the opening kickoff but was then held to 4 yards on 13 carries. Gilmer as a team had -3 yards. Liberty Hill didn't attempt a single pass from their Wing-T formation (30 MPH winds also) en route to their second consecutive state title.

Kid can play any position he wants with that kind of pickup. Looks like he has good hands too.

It looks like three  failed fourth down attempts in the 1st quarter made all the difference in this Class 3A Division I Final. He must be something in space - he gained 107 yards on 2 returns in that game. :D

Yeah, but every player (mostly) and every team has these games. AD ran for 296.....since then, not much. Teams are keying on him. That happens in high school as well. A little blocking from some D1 players does wonders. You cant key on "every" Sooner.

I hope he's not saying that's all he'll play. Hopefully it's just him relaying what the coaching staff has told him. Otherwise, you'd really want to see more a team-first attitude.

It sounded like he was giving props to the '163-pound linebacker' on the Gilmer squad that is 'better' than him. Self-depreciating comments are great, and very team-centric. A la Joe Montana saying he was an average QB at best without his stellar line and awesome WRs.

I think we see him on KR, at slot, as a TB, WB, whatever. We are stacking up at the RB position, so I expect to see tons of different looks for him, Calhoun, Madu, etc. When you have guys that can fly around the field and make plays, you can do lots of things. We are starting to get to the point that Barry was at with the RB position. Sooooo much talent.
