We got a lotta snow on the ground and on the lines, nice wet, heavy snow. Very pretty, very cold. Still have power, knock wood.

I'm sending my prayers. Wish I could send you some sunshine and heat. When I talked to my grandmother in Altus today, she said it was 28 there. She asked me how it was in FL and I hesitated, then said "84". See laughed. My kid in Norman said "Shut UP."

I remember the ice storm we had at home in Norman when the boys were little...I think it was '85 or '86. I have film of the boys sliding on the ice. Poor little 2-year-old Jon was so bundled up he looked like a stuffed teddy bear. He fell on the ice and couldn't move. He was laughing and we were laughing so hard, we couldn't help him up.

Hope y'all can have times like that, and hope no one gets hurt.

Additional condolences! After reading a good part of the ice storm thread, I can see this is a really bad one, with all those trees cracking apart and such. YEOW. I get sorta PO'd when I think that we are now suffering the consequences of GLOBAL WARMING...FERGODSSAKES.
