He's fortunate.

Grilling hot dogs tonight...so I feel kinda hypocritical.

Are those doggie months or human months?

Vick needs to serve that time at Levenworth instead of some Country Club prison where he's gonna be a celebrity.

sick'em fighto

He gets out he can golf with O.J. It's likely neither will have anything better to do. That is of course supposing O.J. himself is not locked away.

you can get less time for rape. considering the sentencing guidelines and what the other defendants got in this case, I think its fine

Maybe they'll feed him some BilJack in that time frame.

Who's Vick's Vapor Rub gonna be?

I'd rather him do one month, if a rapist could get 22 more.

His crime was brutal and unethical, kinda similar to every single race horse breeder that shoots a steel rod into a couple hundred horses' brains every year.

He actually got more than the prosecution recommended. Apparently the judge didnt like the fact that he tested positive for mary jane a couple of months ago. Idiot.

This still sucks for black people in general. The percentage of high profile black people that get bad publicity sucks. The Ron Mexico herpes scandal was bad enough. Sometimes you gotta know when to chill the **** out.

This was about what I expected, you knew the judge would give him more than the prosecutors recommended but less than the max. Hopefully he serves his time and comes out a better person.

it is quite the tasty delicacy, but i don't recall seeing any pit bulls at the farms where they raise them

He has already been serving time in jail while awaiting his sentence. Anyone know how much time he has already served and when he may be able to get out early for good behavior?

Could he play home games while on parole? If so I see him playing again next fall.

I'm a HUGEEEE dog person. Have had them all my life and have an Aussie Shepard and Black Lab right now. But you gotta think about this for a sec. RAPIST and PEDAPHILES get less for their EXTREMELY HANESS crimes. Thats gotta make you raise an eyebrow. Kinda weird.

Any chance they could put Mike in a cell with a rabid Pit Bull?
...or just a particularly mean one?

Federal sentences are pretty much set. I believe you get 1 day removed from your sentence for every month of good behavior. So 22 months and a week is about as soon as he's eligible.

23 months in prison...hmm, gotta new idea for a Dr Pepper commercial. Have Michael Vick sing in prison and mention his 23 months; perhaps not the way to go but it could be funny.

A horrible crime, but too much time.... 23 months for a first time offender. Ouch.

You can beat someone near to death and not get that much time.

Yeah, but these were dogs, man's best friend. I think he should have got the chair. :D

edit...Really though, be mean to dogs and I don't care what they do to you, it wouldn't be harsh enough.
