Noticed that last night Crazy stuff.
Sure wish I could get an update on the ice though. :cool:

It's 33F on the West side of Indy, and Rain. Go up north a little ways, and there'd be and Ice Storm Warning w/ Temps below 30 and Hvy Frz Rain w/ thunder.

I heard some thunder in East B.A. around 4 this morning. And we've got a nice coat of ice on our vinyl siding, bricks, patio table, grill, etc. I haven't checked the pavement yet, but my guess is it's gonna be a little slick as well.

This weather sucks. It's so bad, the squirrels are staying indoors which just happens to be my next door neighbors attic.
If anyone is out near NW 50 & May, can you bring me a 12 pack?

when that junk you guys are getting came through Colorado on the gulf stream, it was windy as hell. 50 mph gusts on Tuesday or Wednesday.

I've had my truck parked at the end of my driveway w/a for sale sign on it all day. Just went outside to pull it into the garage so it could thaw out before work tomorrow. I had to punch all the way around my door to get it to open. There's a nice layer of ice coating my whole truck. Hopefully my garage will be warm enough to melt it off. Either that or I'll just have to let it run for a while in the a.m.

tomorrow is trash day, but the lid of my trashcan was frozen shut. so I had to pull it into the garage so it can thaw out enough to get the lid open to put the trash in. heh

Funny you mentioned that. I almost backed into my trash can and noticed it was frozen shut as well. Mine has until Wed. to thaw out though,heh.

trash day Monday as well. I had a good 1/2 inch of ice on the lid of my trash can, but it wasn't frozen shut - just heavy.

Neighbor lady said they aren't bad.
I don't know, myself. Been inside all day.
Just stay away from semis, and especially their fuel tanks.
srsly, I wouldn't be out in this stuff unless it was a life or death situation. And I have lots of experience driving heavy trucks on solid ice.

So.... I have had the power flicker quite a few times now so I cranked up the heat in the house in case we lose power. Seriously, the way the lights are flickering, it could be any minute. To top it all off, I decided to go ahead and take a quick shower tonight in case I don't have power in the morning and when I got out I see where there are 2 big fire trucks parked at the house across the street. I sent my 14yo out to figure out what was wrong, but we still don't know why they are there. :(
