CompUSA going out of business

They just announced on the news tonight that CompUSA is shutting down for good after Christmas. Hopefully this means a fire sale on stuff.

They shut down all their stores up here this past summer.

They had someting like 40-60 percent off of everything when they did.

It's kinda sad. I had a similar reaction when I heard they were shutting down.

I used to work for 'em a few years back

They shut down 1 of their denver stores, I picked up a 22" widescreen viewsonic lcd for about 2 bills

I just replaced my 5g with a 80gig 6g yesterday.
I love it. I'm convinced the sound quality has improved although supposedly that isn't true. The UI is MUCH faster as is the speed of switching songs. They must have put more RAM or something in there (I think they have like 32mb's or something like that)
