As I read through ESPN columnist Mark Schlabach's recent story (http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/columns/story?columnist=schlabach_mark&id=3143524) about the finalists for various awards, I couldn't help but post my dissatisfaction with the Tallahassee Quarterback Club (http://www.biletnikoffaward.com/).

Malcom Kelly should have been a finalist.

Disagree. He did not play well enough consistently. He was absolutely spectacular at times. But he never developed into "the" go-to guy. That would be Iglesias.

Not to mention, we've all heard about his sloppy route-running. In fact, I would not be at all surprised if he could be convinced to stay for his senior year. He needs more polish if he wants the really big first round money.

He is a #15-25 draft pick according to Nfl scouts, and I dont think he played badly it was just that Iglesias, Gresham, and Johnson stepped up their play

I thought this was gonna be an Ozzy thread :D

I think Malcolm's obscurity and Joaquin's ubiquity were due to Sam's tendencies more than anything. Iglesias needs to hang onto the ball more consistently before I'd call him our "go-to guy". Just my opinion

Maybe he received so much defensive attention that it led to big years for JI and Gresham...

Either way, it lends itself to all three back next year which is what I am hoping for. Pick your poison, defenses!!

If we get everyone back, or just lose MK there is no reason we wont be playing for it all next year!! Fingers Crossed!

kinda but not really, Barry cant include his bowl numbers which was well over 200 yds but this kid can, not quite fair if you ask me! That being said, this guy is really good!

Cool, well he should certainly be up for the Doak and Heisman. I mean if Barry could win it at Okie State then he should be able to at UCF.

anything before the rule to add bowl numbers was implemented has not been updated. Im not sure if it is up to the school or if you just cant do it, but as it stands Barry's bowl numbers are not included

See, that's what I thought but I was going on what someone above had said.

If they haven't added Barry's bowl numbers, I call shenanigans.

Who is Kevin Smith?

He's that Clerks, Mall Rats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, Clerks 2 guy!

No wonder he's had good numbers...He's all about Star Wars and Batman!
