They deserve each other. It reminds me of when I vacuum up several different types of live spiders in the garage then imagine what is going on inside the main vacuum container over the next several days.

I think we should probably warn LSU. They burn things down in Columbus when they're upset. Or in celebration. Just because, really.

Based on everything I've heard from UT fans that went to Columbus a few years ago, Buckeye fans can hold their own in the asshat department. Frankly, we should probably warn the good denizens of NOLA...and FEMA.

I'm supposed to go to New Orleans for a conference two weeks after the MNC game--think the National Guard will have cleared out by then?

Warn the buckeyes about what? I can remember hearing a whole lot of crap about how "bad" LSU's fans are, and every time I've run into a pack of them all at once they've been too drunk to stand and can't think of anything to say more creative than "tiger bait" over and over and over.

And that's one chant I still don't understand. For instance, what is the result of an encounter between a catfish and catfish bait? Dead fried catfish. Extend the analogy.

I too have never understood the tiger bait thing. Has anyone gotten a decent explanation before?

I'm pretty sure most Ohio State fans won't just sit there and take it like we did. I expect retaliation to be swift and severe from the Buckeye Nation in New Orleans. That might even make a good road trip to just go and watch all the carnage and hilarity between the two fan bases before and after the game.

I would expect them to bring their own couches to burn on Bourbon Street after the game.

The same goes for WVU fans and okie aggies in the city of Phoenix.

I'd love to see both teams and their fanbases showing their asses on national TV.

Would be great to see CNN and FOX spending days describing the drunken, couch-burning, stabbing, shooting and overall retarded crime scene to a nation that somehow believes these 2 teams are "the elite". Throw me a bonus and show Lester taking part in the riot!

OhSU fans say the travel very well. I just hope they play well.
I'm really looking forward to having fans from Hawai'i, UGA, and OhSU down here at the turn of the year. It should be a couple of weeks of fun.
I'll even forgive OhSU for being overrated if they knock off LSU! :D

That's West Virginia, not Ohio State. They primarily burn cars at Ohio State, based on the news footage I've seen.

So YOU are the one viewer who actually watched that show.

I avoided it religiously. If there's anything more annoying than the real New Orleans, it's the TV-cliche-stereotype New Orleans.

But after midnight, several blocks close to campus - including Chittenden Street, 13th Avenue, 15th Avenue and 16th Avenue - were filled with excited fans, couch-burning, car-flipping and destruction of property, Mercurio said.

Burning cars just because you won a football game? Idiots. I think their fight song also has words in it about beating Michigan. This should remove any doubt that Ohio State is, in fact, aggy.

Aggies are already buying up hotel rooms in Phoenix for New Year's just so OU fans don't show up there. I would be surprised if they do something stupid like burn furniture if they won their game.

Actually if you check out the NFL draft speed charts, OSU is faster at just about every postion. One exception is Holliday.

LSU is probably faster at getting drunk....

Bucknuts are faster fire starters...

It probably will be a closer game than with Florida last year....
