They got tons of them at Limited Too if you are shopping for them. My spawn couldn't give a crap, they are all about the electronics.

Urgh! My 10 year old daughter already has three of these things and wants another handful for Christmas.

At least they are cheap.

My girls each have a couple of them. The most annoying thing is when they fuss about who gets to "check on their webkinz" online. Then there's all of those goofy games and stuff.

Ugh.

They've been around for a while, but it wouldn't surprise me.

My thirteen-year-old daughter went to a b-day party over the summer and a girl the same age was getting mostly these crazy things as gifts. My daughter would have rather have cash or abercrombie or itunes gift certificates.

Yep. Spider-man is owned by Sony Pictures.

I think I might try the iTunes angle with my 9 year-old. My 6 year-old might not go for that in a few years.

Mine each have a Webkinz, and my daughter has a Shooting Star panda, which is similar. Fortunately, they seem happy with just one. Lot cheaper than the Wii that I've told them they can't have.

Anyone who doesn't have a wii hates their children.

I let my kids play with mine at least once a month. ;)

Wii's (just the console without any extras) are now going for $500 on ebay. Unbelievable. When I found our kids' in September I knew I should've bought several and held onto them. Oh well, our kids are going to be over-the-top excited on Christmas morning and that's all that really matters.
