Maybe we'll get a break, like a fumble or something. :D

Yep, at the game in SA they said it was at Arrowhead next year. The Big XII Championship page (http://www.big12sports.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/big12-footbl-championship-07.html) says the same.

If we have to play a game in the north, why in he heck can't we play it in the dome in St. Louis?

Screw KC in Dec.

I'm surprised the Edward Jones Dome hasn't hosted the Big XII title game in years; I think the last one was in '98, when A&M knocked off KSU. They also had the first one in '96 when Texas upended Neb.

I'm not sure my tootsies can take another Big 12 game at Arrowhead - they 'bout froze last year.

FWIW... I'm stocking up on the footwarmers now.

That's actually a pretty good schedule in terms of strength and prestige and some of the more troubling games will be at home.

9/6 Cincinnati -- Cincy is, what, # 22 right now? Should be a good game, and it's in Norman.

9/13 TBA

9/20 at Washington -- this one could be trouble. Jake Locker is a very good QB and Willingham has these guys starting to believe. And it'll have Pac 10 refs. :(

9/27 TCU (3) -- Quality opponent in Norman -- revenge is sweet.

10/4 at Baylor -- New coach, in Waco. Nice way to kick off Big 12 play

10/11 vs Texas -- Always a battle.

10/18 Kansas -- Good team, in our house. Could be trouble, but we'll see.

10/25 at Kansas State -- this one is always tough. At least Nelson is graduating, but their QB will be back. These guys can be real trouble. This may be the toughest game on the schedule.

11/1 Nebraska -- Pelini's first year, on the road, in Norman. Heh.

11/8 at Texas A&M -- While this is a snake pit...Mike Sherman? McGee is gone, but Goodson and Lane are back. Worries me less than KSU.

11/15 Texas Tech -- Okay, Harrell, you're toast at our place. Especially if Leach bails for UCLA.

11/22 TBA -- probably on open date, which will be good, because...

11/29 at Oklahoma State -- I hate Stoolwater, but the new stadium will be half-filled with crazed people wearing orange who think they have a chance. And Gundy will be 41. Fair number of starters coming back.

12/6 Big 12 CG (TBA) -- Early guess...it's either going to be Colorado or Missouri.

Looks like a great season to me. A few tough games sprinkled in and a few that will be viewed as tough by the retarded media. Then some of the easier ones should make us look good as well since some of the easier games will be against teams that will otherwise play creampuffs and end up with great records.

For real, I could not feel my feet by the end of that game. But, hey, if we leave with a win, im not complaining. I would rather freeze and win than lose and be comfortable (temp.-wise). I just hope I dont have to stand on a sheet of ice next year in KC.

We will get to welcome some new coaches to the Big XII next year. Let's give them half a hundred reasons to wish they wouldn't have taken their jobs.

McGee is only a junior. He will be back. That's not to say that he might be replaced by the more athletic Jerrod Johnson if the new staff implements a new offense.

It sucks to have to take revenge against TCU.

True. But a blowout would make me feel better.

Would be nice to blow them out 70-3 or something and then watch 'em win every other game by 50...
