I think it would be causing even more meltdowns than what we have right now. If LSU had to play Va Tech AGAIN to get to the title game and Va Tech beat them the entire SEC would secede from football forevah.

Well, we had to play Mizzou AGAIN, and we seemed to be ok with it.

Not sure what the big deal would be. It would be one hell of an improvement over what we have now.

I doubt it. The thing that is causing so many people to have gas is the fact that the team they support will get no shot to play for the title.

In your scenario LSU gets the chance to prove their case on the field. How they handle it is up to them.

And, I thought the BCS was all about making the entire season worthwhile. Are you saying that because VT lost their first game of the year they shouldn't be able to prove they are a worthy team by playing for it on the field?
