He is having surgery in the morning at the VA. He has an aneurism on his aorta, and even though the surgery is very risky it's a 'must have' because it could rupture at any moment. He's 83 and legally blind, but at my house every game day to watch (listen) to the game and enjoy the other sooner fans that are around.

he made it thru the surgery itself, but during recovery his heart just stopped. doctors in ICU did everything they could, but we lost him about 3:00 this afternoon.

please keep his wife of 41 years in your prayers.

What a terrible loss.

My thoughts and prayers are with his wife. And for you as well. I gather he was a pretty special neighbor to you.
