Bradford out - OU losses to TT
Booty out - USC loses to Oregon
White out - WVU loses to South Florida and Pitt
Dixon out - Oregon loses to everyone
Henne hobbled all year - Michigan hobbled all year.
Tebow can't run against UGA - Florida can't run against UGA (or win)

I see at trend here. I think college FB is approaching the pro level such that the backup QB is not going to be able to win against average or better competition. That tells me that having Bradford as a typical drop back passer is the way to go. I can't see a team that runs a true option being able to keep a QB on the field for a 12+ game season. It's no fluke that Dixon and White got hurt. I hope next year that we coach Sam to get out of the way if there is a fumble or pick coming back the other way

We lost to TT partly because we lost Bradford, but it was more of a meltdown by the defense. Halzle did a good job of keeping us in the game, and actually giving us a chance to come back and win. With the others, it is evident that if you have a duel threat QB, it is harder for a backup to come in and be effective.
