After 20 years of the 85 scholarship limit, the effect of that significant change has been fully realized. The school presidents and the NCAA have got what they wanted. Their desire for parity has made a mockery of the Bowl Division. If they want to stubbornly hold on to the bowl system and refute any type of legitimate playoff, then they need to rescind the scholarship limitation. Simply can't have it both ways.
