Sooners ... please read carefully.

First of all, we will have a pre-game party on Jan. 1st, 5:30pm at the Tilted Kilt in Scottsdale. (7077 E. Bell Rd Scottsdale, AZ 85254) We will have the Sugar Bowl on some of the t.v.'s and then will have the 2004 Red River Shoot Out and 2001 Orange Bowl games on other t.v.'s. This is an opportunity for us to get together to celebrate our boys playing in the Fiesta Bowl. We will some Sooner have door prizes too!

Secondly ... we have a fellow Sooner (Joe Curry) that is the owner of the Scottsdale Auto Salon at 9393 E. Bell Rd in Scottsdale ... he is offering FREE hot dogs to anyone wearing gear and FREE car washes to any car with OU banners, stickers or signs on their car!

Thirdly ... Tailgating! We are going to be tailgating in the northerm most section of the north Green lot (there are 2 green lots ... see attached map). Thomas and Karen Lowell will be setting up between 10:30 - 11:00am on gameday. They have a white awning/easy up tent they will be setting up and will try to stack some claim. They will be setting up as close to the grey lot as they can. Now here's the deal ... they will fill up the north green lot first, then close it off and start filling up the south green lot. Thomas and Karen are getting there early so we will have a good spot ... so if you want to show up later you might have to haul your stuff a little ways to get there.
NO charcoal grilles allowed ..... but gas grilles are acceptable.
NO glass bottles!
Bring enough to share!
Bring chairs to sit in!

Fourthly ... we have a spot that needs to be filled in the hospitality room over there at the Princess. Jan 1st from 1:45 to 5:30. We had a Sooner sign up for it but he has come down with a stomach virus and like a good and loyal Sooner ... he doesn't want to contaminate the team! If anyone can cover this shift for him please let me know!

I hope to see everyone tomorrow night at the Tilted Kilt and then at the tailgate spot on game day!

I have some tickets that people are needing to sell if you all need tickets let me know.

We went to the TK tonight for the Okie State game, and the coaches had a pretty big table there - guys that I rekinized: Heupel, Vegetables, BJ Wright, Gumby, and K-Wilson. Difficult to tell whether they were cheering for or against other Gundy & OSU - more just oohs/aahs on big hits. Looking forward to seeing you guys again!

Funny side note: Went to light up a cigar on the patio, and the bartender said that they didn't allow that. As I look over my shoulder - a table full of folks are smoking lung darts, and the smoke is flowing over my shoulder - through the bar, and into the dining area. I said: I'm not going to do it inside - just out here on your cold *** patio. She said no deal. I spoke to the manager, and she said - get this: "The management is moving towards more of a 'family friendly' environment" and that included prohibiting cigar smoking on the patio. I asked her if she was serious, as one of the scantily clad waitress walked by with with her tata's hanging out. She just shrugged.

*In the same parking lot as Tilted Kilt - BROKERS encourages cigar smoking on their patio. FYI for both of you cigar smokers on here.*

Lots of Sooners at the TK today. Not too many of us Soonerfans.commers, esp compared with last year. But, the place was dominated by OU people of all kinds, all day long. I left for most of the suc game, but came back for the end of it, and first half of the Georgia yawner. Lots of folks left the place about the time I did. Now, we gotta kick some Mountaineer fanny tomorrow.
