We just put ours in the mail.

About 75. Friends and family. Some of these people we haven't seen in 20 years and may never see again. Yet, they get a card, and they usually reciprocate.

I was thinking as I stuck the brief "here's what we've been up to this year" note in each one, these things may be the last vestige of paper purely social correspondence left in this digital age.

We are sending ours out this weekend. 65 of em. By email. Except for the grandmothers. They all hate email.

Why do you hate progress?

Getting a Christmas card via email is like getting laid by a rubber doll. Yeah, you get a nut, but...

I still send cards through the mail. I think it's a nice gesture, and it's exciting to get a card in the mail along with the usual bills and junk. So I mail out cards, figuring I'll pass along the feeling to others.

Mail mostly sucks, but Christmas cards are an exception.

Growing up my parents always sent a picture of my brother and me for our Christmas card. We're continuing the tradition. These (http://www.soonerfans.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2143149&postcount=4) were taken for this year's card.

Yep. I send one to my customers. Not the crappy corporate ones though. My stepdad is an artist and does my mom and I custom cards every year. My customers start asking in October what is this year's christmas card going to look like. I also have a few that frame the cards and put them up in their homes.

Their purty.

I'll just take your word on that. No further explanation, please.

the wife and I do, I usually make ours out of a personal picture of some sort, alp on a snappy caption and send them out.

We're thoughtful like that.

BTW, none of you are one the mailing list.

about 75 of our closest friends/family get a card extolling the birth of our Savior and a picture of me and the bobcat.
