Just wanted to post a little "Thank You" to the Tiger fans who took the time to register and post here this week. I don't make a habit of registering on other team's boards, so I like it when the other team's fans come here. We don't get many North fans here because, well, you know, the same reason you guys didn't show up before we played you the first time.

Anyway, thanks for making the week a little more entertaining. Good luck tomorrow night and in whatever bowl game you end up in. Do the Big 12 proud.

See you in another 50 years.

Oooh, my parents really dig Branson.

Thanks for being halfway between Dallas and Madison so we could hook up with my wife's family this summer!!

Thanks Stoop. It's still a bit unreal for us Mizzou fans for us to be in this position...goodness knows it's been a long time!

We haven't won a championship since the year before I was born, and after suffering through the years that MU was the football laughing-stock of the big 8/12 it's great to finally have a program that we can be proud of. Hopefully for us it will last for a few years, but if not, well, we are already programmed to be pessimists.

We have looked at programs like yours for years with envy. I know there are some bad MU fans out there who are getting big-headed about this season, but I'm not. I'm still waiting for the other shoe to drop. Hopefully it won't be tomorrow night! I don't have a prediction about tomorrow...OU is a great program with confidence and experience in games like this, and we are still untried. Good luck to both teams; hopefully no one gets hurt and damages either of our chances in whatever bowl games we get to.

I'm still trying to digest the fact that we are ranked #1 and have a chance to get to the BCS championship game! We have a huge test tomorrow. I hope we are able to man up and win. If we do, and then win the championship game, we will have earned it.

Thanks for letting me put my $.02 in.

GO TIGERS!

While many of my posts admittedly contain back-handed compliments, I really do hope MU finishes the year strong. Not necessarily with a win over OU, but strong none-the-less.

Good luck to you guys in whatever bowl game you wind up in. I can't wish you good luck for tomorrow, because...well, you know.

You're about to discover it's one thing to get to number one, but it's something else altogether to get to stay there.

Seriously, best of luck.

I hope everyone (even the Sooners) stays healthy tomorrow night. I hope the game is decided by the players and not our wonderful Big 12 officials. You guys are more fun than the beakers or bugeaters. I look forward to reading your thoughts after Mizzou wins tomorrow :)

[edit: And I'll also be congratulating you if, by some fluke, y'all manage to win.]

HA!

I'm sure you will be able to find some drunken, arrogant, mouthy MU fans to take jabs at. They will deserve it for being imbeciles, so go forth with my blessing my son...

I have to admit, as a Mizzou fan, I'd hang out with Sooner fans long before I would a Kan'tsas fan. For the most part, you guys have some real level heads here that make excellent, educated posts....and if you've ever read the Jayhawk board, you'd appreciate it even more. I think saturday night's game will be a great one - and pardon us Mizzou fans if we're a little wrapped up in the moment. This is a pretty big deal for us...win or lose.

Now for the Branson thing - while I admit there's quite a few blue hairs, it does offer some decent entertainment. I spend alot of time on and around Tablerock - great boating, fishing, camping. Now if they just had gambling - oh wait, that's what Oklahoma's for!!

Here's to a great game...cheers.

Don't they pull in refs from another conference for this? I hope it's not the Pac 10...

It's bad enough we have to listen to Mushberger and Herbstreit...though I figure Herbie will be pulling for us so tOSU can go the MNC...

:D yep, she was actually rooting for the Tigers last Saturday.
She even managed to watch ...... oh..... about 45 seconds of game time. However that was split among 3 different times of walking by the tv room saying "Is Missouri still ahead" , "Go Missouri" , "What's their mascot?"

She's quite the football gamer.

Only reason I registered here is for the fark board. Then I came over to see if there was conversation around the game...all I found was a bunch of smack & booger talk.

well, we put the YOUR "momma jokes" away early. if you want me to, i'll yell at her and tell her to get them back out on her way to getting me a F*^(ing beer. Also, when you see her again, tell her she owes me change from the last time she was over here.

This was taken from tigerboard.com: "Sooner fans can rest easy tonight. I filled out my organ donor card. One of them lucky SOB's is gonna get my teeth." That is some fine football talk.

Shouldn't that say tooth?
